Kinnersley House

This project revitalised Kinnersley House with bold, colourful designs that blend period charm and modern functionality.

Client Brief & Vision

The clients wanted to replace their dated kitchen with a space that truly reflected their love of colour, pattern, and character.

Their vision was to create a bright, quirky kitchen that felt in keeping with the period style of Kinnersley House while incorporating practical elements for modern living.

A central island with seating, a walk-in larder, and farmhouse touches such as a traditional flagstone floor and an Aga were high on their wish list. Beyond the kitchen, they also hoped to bring the same sense of personality and style into their downstairs cloakroom and bootroom.

The Renovation & End Result

The renovation completely reimagined the layout by relocating the kitchen to the opposite side of the room, unlocking far greater flexibility and flow. This allowed for a more practical arrangement of storage, preparation, and social spaces, while also making use of the existing hatch to connect seamlessly with the dining room.

The bold reed green cabinetry, floral wallpaper, and farmhouse touches combined to create a kitchen that feels both playful and timeless. The same attention to detail continued into the cloakroom, where luxurious finishes and statement wallpaper transformed it into a striking yet functional space.
