Oak House Bootroom
Client Brief & Vision
The client wanted a practical and stylish bootroom that maximised storage while blending seamlessly with their rustic farmhouse interior.
Their brief called for bespoke cabinetry to conceal a combi boiler, provide space for a vacuum, and offer convenient storage for coats and shoes near the door.
They envisioned a design that was functional yet in keeping with the existing flagstone floors, rustic oak doors, and farmhouse aesthetic of their home.
The Renovation & End Result
The bootroom was transformed into a functional and visually cohesive space, combining practical storage with rustic charm. A solid oak bench was added for seating, while the boiler was cleverly hidden behind cabinetry that blends seamlessly with the painted T&G panelling. The design respects the farmhouse style of the home, with subtle green tones and pewter hardware adding character without overwhelming the space.

Rhian and Zoe are very enthusiastic and really helpful, taking the time to consider design options and help plan the space. Zoe worked on our kitchen and transformed the room, the communication was excellent throughout and they were very supportive with the installation. The fitter Richard was very efficient, tidy and polite.
Thank you so much for your help & your hard work.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Everything used is 'high end' and the very best of qualities. We're absolutely 'over the moon' and totally 'blown away' by the professionalism and workmanship, from start to finish. An absolutely gorgeous transformation, that will, most definitely enhance our living. House of Harper & Team, you should be so so proud of your achievements. Thank you will never be enough!

The showroom may look small but the volume of products and depth of knowledge displayed by Rhian was phenomenal. Throughout our meeting, she and her male colleague were eloquent, thoughtful, practical ; we made our purchase based on her professionalism and amiable disposition. Rhian was able to blend colours, explain the advantages and drawbacks of some of my ‘whims’. She is to be complimented for fielding my questions but her personal collection and delivery of the granite sinks from the suppliers thrilled us! We could see that she dealt in good quality products and ‘ knew her stuff’ . Wonderful to have a creative designer and supplier in Worcester.

I have worked with Rhian on a kitchen in her previous life, and her ability to assess a space and maximise it, in terms of both aesthetics and practicality is outstanding. Rhian takes time to understand the client’s wishes whilst skilfully guiding you, without being at all overbearing. She is delightful to work with and fills you with confidence.I’m now very excitedly awaiting a whole new set of monster cupboards going into a downstairs hallway and landing, plus a bathroom vanity unit. The team have handled the whole process with great skill and professionalism, and I know the quality of workmanship and materials will be second to none. I can’t wait for my next delivery!
