Martley Kitchen Renovation

This project reimagined our client’s existing layout to create a gorgeous kitchen dining room for their family.

Client Brief & Vision

The client’s vision was simple – to create a large family kitchen diner within their existing space, but with defined zoning and functionality that was easy for them to combine their kitchen and dining room. Previously, the room felt too large and separated, with no real structure or layout between the kitchen and dining room.

Specifically requesting easily accessible storage, practical features and a central island with social seating – we designed every element of this design to fit their brief and suit their family of five.

Inspired by the detail of our Diamond cabinetry in the showroom, they knew this was the traditional, timeless look they wanted to achieve in their home.

Before & During The Transformation

With a considerable space to work with initially, our clients just needed some guidance on how to functionally utilise it.

The Renovation & End Result

Installing a stud wall to separate the lounge and kitchen diner, the client’s chose a gorgeous Herringbone oak floor throughout to keep the spaces cohesive, yet separate.

The main kitchen cabinetry was painted in “Fired Biscuit”, and the island was highlighted by “Inky Fingers” – both by William Morris – creating a beautiful blend of colour.

Emphasised by a Siberia quartz worktop, their feature island really was the perfect match, as it contained both the navy blue and warm neutral colours within the marbled pattern.
